Arizona students and educators won big in the 2022 election. The Arizona Education Association congratulates Governor-elect Katie Hobbs on her election victory. She values our public school educators, who are some of the most trusted and respected people in every community.
She knows that to attract and retain the best teachers and education support professionals to support students, we need to pay our educators like the professionals they are and give them the respect they deserve. I am a proud union member, a teacher, and a mom of a student in one of Arizona’s amazing public schools. Our students need someone like Governor-elect Hobbs who supports union values and will fight for our working families.
